Ashley Suh (b. 2005) is a painter currently pursuing her BFA in Painting and a Concentration in Theory of Art History and Design at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Born in the US and raised across several countries, Suh draws inspiration from her memories of the spaces she’s lived in and everyday moments to explore themes of home, belonging, and identity. Through a process of layering images and textural material, Suh creates spaces that hold a quiet history of nostalgia within them.
